College Audition Coaching

What's Involved

The college audition process can feel overwhelming and out of control. I can help you work through all aspects of the process and together we can make a plan to help you decrease stress and find success!

Finding the Right School

Knowing what you're looking for is integral to finding the right school for you. There is a school/program out there for everyone, working together we can find schools and programs that appeal to you and make a plan for admissions.

Brand

The most important thing you bring into an audition room is yourself. Who you are and how to show yourself in the best light is a necessary part of college auditions. A good headshot and resume can help a college get to know you.

Song/Monolouge Selection

Songs and monologues that you feel confident performing make this process easier. Together we can find pieces that serve you and put you in your best light for college auditions.

Workshop

Who are you talking to? What's your objective? How do you get what you want? What do you say to the accompanist?

Let's answer those questions together. Workshopping your audition pieces is an integral part of the process, but it's hard to do by yourself.

Self Tapes

Most schools now require pre-tapes before in-person auditions. These tapes are key to college auditions. I have the tools to help you create tapes that will make colleges want to see you in person.

Interview Practice

How do you respond when the auditioners ask if you have any questions about the program? Answer; you practice. Knowing what to ask helps the auditioners know you are serious about their program. Together we can create those questions.
