Elke Myers

Elke is a multifaceted theatre artist who loves to tell stories! She has experience acting, singing, directing, composing, and teaching. She graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre from Nebraska Wesleyan University in May of 2022.

After graduation, she went on tour with Missoula Children's Theatre and traveled around the United States and Canada. With MCT she was able to combine her passion for performance with her love of teaching.

After working with MCT, she returned to her hometown of Boise, ID where she joined the Idaho Shakespeare Festival/Idaho Theatre for Youth's touring production of Air Heart!

In 2024 Elke began her collaboration with Grace Ward on their new musical            ! 

In the summers she co-teaches the apprenticeship program at Idaho Shakespeare Festival.

Elke has played a wide range of roles, but her favorites have been the strong passionate women she has portrayed including Kate in Air Heart, Philoclea in Head Over Heels, Janet in Rocky Horror Show, Beth in Little Women the Musical, and Mrs. Shears in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

Elke is an eternal optimist and never shies away from a challenge!

When she is not onstage performing or in a classroom teaching you can find her hanging out with her incredibly cute puppy, reading a romance novel,  hiking around with friends, or overthinking her excessive use of exclamation points!
